I'd say that, right now, it's about fifty-fifty for me. Depending on the situation, I will either say "Not funny," or ignore them. I recently had a spar with an aunt about global climate change, and I was completely outnumbered- I wasn't going to be changing minds in that case even if I tried. I was shocked that people held that view, still, that climate change wasn't happening, and that humans were very vain to think they could be the cause.
If I am in a situation where I have the knowledge and eloquence to change minds, or I think so? Yes, I'll speak. If I know that the person won't listen and I would just be wasting time, I'll be quiet. Am I a coward?
