Just kinda miserable right now

ashacroneI haven't posted a rant here in a while, or even a generalized update.
My grandma is progressively going more and more senile. Two weeks ago, she asked me who I was. That was the first time she had done that to me, even when I knew she had done it to others. We had been close for many years. My dad has said I should remember that she is not my grandma anymore; that woman is gone. This is just what remains. Doesn't really help, though.
You can't just say "Ah, well... she's old." Its hard to mourn a living person. She kept her mind up until this last year.
At any rate, this is sad, I'm sad, life is sad right now. I need chocolate.
