As for Carry On, I'm currently using NaNoWriMo to get myself to write out a functional draft for it. I've got so much planned for it, it's going to take a lot of work to get it threaded through and decide what to cut and what to keep. If I happen to finish Carry On here, I'll start work on Thorns, the prequel story I have partially planned out.
And, as a question to anyone who cares to give an opinion:
Would anyone be interested in a rewrite of She-Ra from a darker perspective? An homage, with the serial numbers filed off? There is a lot of interesting plot points that weren't addressed, I felt, in the story. Keeping tropes like the magic sword, the resistance, the empire, science vs. magic. I really loved the story growing up and using the same tropes would be fun, I think.
I need to see if I can do it...
